Swim & Sing with Wild Dolphins in Mozambique 2 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 2
Two Dolphin Retreats in September 2009: 3 - 7 & 10 - 14

Come and spend time in the tranquility and peace of the Dolphin Encounters Camp in Ponta Do Oura, Mozambique. We will learn more about the resident dolphin pods in this area, which are a worldwide phenomenon as, although completely wild and not coerced in any way, they often choose to befriend and spend time with us humans. We will spend our evenings around the campfire making music, singing and sharing around the sacred fire. We will also be holding a pipe ceremony during the weekend.

There is direct access to the beach, where early mornings are spent watching magnificent golden sunrises and searching for dolphins
while checking out the waves, wind and water conditions. Chalets are rustically constructed out of reed and wood. Wind-chimes and hammocks adorn this little island-style paradise.

It's a veritable playground for kids. It's taking them back into the space of nature, Robinson Crusoe-style ... no tvs, no PSPs or computer games. Just the beach, the dolphins and you.

Ablutions are simple but stylish with hot water showers and are serviced regularly. Basic casitas come with linen and mosquito nets.
Wooden casitas also have plug points and fans.

Meals are served at the camp, either on the beach or in the main area and are prepared fresh by resident chefs Roxy, Tina and Olinda.
Vegetarians are catered for and sustainable seafood initiatives are followed.

A small Honesty Bar is on site for your convenience.

Included:
3 x dinners, 4 x brunches
4 x dolphin launches (weather permitting)
Border transfers
Snorkeling course, dolphin gift pack, educational slide show.

Price : R4 600 per person sharing
