Golf ToursSouth Africa is blessed with the climate, landscape and scenery to have some of the most spectacular & challenging golf courses on the planet. It also hosts several top tournaments each year - probably the best known is the Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge held at Sun City in November each year. The country has also produced some of the world's great golfers - like Gary Player, Bobby Locke, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Trevor Immelman. You'll find heaps of golf courses dotted around the country - from humble country clubs with sand greens and very rough fairways, to manicured courses in wealthy golf estates. These were recently voted the Top 10 Courses in the country: - Leopard Creek - near Malelane on the southern border of Kruger National Park - designed by Gary Player and where you could well meet up with a hippo or crocodile on the waterholes.
