Visitor Centre opens at Cape Town Stadium |
Cape Town locals and visitors can satisfy their curiosity and get a
first-hand look at their newest legacy: the Cape Town Stadium at Green
Point.
The 68 000 new stadium has already become an iconic landmark in the Mother City and has attracted lots of attention and interest.
 Eight of the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup™ matches will be played here.
The Cape Town Stadium Visitor is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Hour-long tours depart at 10h00, 12h00 and 14h00 and include the stands, players' changing rooms, VIP/hospitality area and prison cell. Unfortunately, access to the pitch is not allowed.
Tickets cost R30 for adults and R15 for pensioners/children. School tours are also available and cost R10 per learner
