Cape Town all set for 2010 World Cup Final Draw |
It's all systems go at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). This is where the historic 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Final Draw will take place tomorrow, Friday 4 December to determine which of the 32 qualifying teams will be playing where and against whom for the duration of next year's tournament.
 The stage at the CTICC where the Final Draw will take place And all the stops have been pulled out to make this event one that the Mother City is going to remember for a long, long time.
Over 3 000 people have been involved in the Final Draw and preparations for this event have been under way for almost a year, a good 10% of whom are volunteers.
A proudly South African event, local companies have rallied around, providing structures, creativity and enthusiasm on a scale never seen before.
The event will be broadcast live at 19h00 to an estimated audience of 150-million viewers in 200 countries.
Over 15 000 fans are expected to gather in the official party area - renowned Long Street - to hear the results ... and celebrate until the wee, wee hours ...
