4 More Countries make the 2010 World Cup Grade |
These latest qualifying teams are happily awaited for 2010: Honduras, Argentina,
Switzerland and Slovakia.
In another exciting round of qualifiers, Argentina beat Uruguay 1-0 to join Brazil, Paraguay and Chile in representing South America in the 2010 World Cup.

In Europe, Slovakia booked their ticket to the final by beating Poland 1-0. They are joined by Switzerland who qualified after drawing against Israel in Basel.
Honduras also qualified to join Mexico to represent Central America at the 2010 event.
"The fans travelling to South Africa to support their teams next year will receive a warm welcome and will truly experience a uniquely African tournament", said Danny Jordaan CEO of the Local Organising Committee.
(PS - This also means that there's only NINE more spaces available for countries still hoping to qualify!)
