2011 marks the 10th birthday of the Stellenbosch Wine Festival - one of the largest and longest-standing wine festivals in the fair Cape.
And it promises to be a celebration of all things culinary and from the vine - with excellent wines, mouth-watering foods, music and arts. It's a delight for lovers of the finer things in life.
Over 500 fine Stellenbosch wines will be showcased, together with a host of gourmet treats, food and wine workshops, fine entertainment and the winelands' famed artistic talent.
The festivities kick off a week prior with Stellenbosch Wine Week on Friday 22 July. Some of the 150 farms that make up the Stellenbosch wine route band together to offer an unforgettable smorgasbord of delights for visitors - fine wines and dining at the area's leading restaurants, exclusive dinners, wine tastings and much more. These are bespoke events so if you'd like to attend, best book early.
