 A firm family favourite, the annual Outeniqua Country Hop Strawberry Festival attracts locals and visitors alike - it's a great way to experience the picturesque countryside, warm country hospitality and bountiful, fresh local produce. Of course, there's also lots to do and see, drink and eat!
Some of this year's highlights include:
* George's All Dog Sports Centre performances and displays from dogs both large and small.
* A dog walk (Sat 08h00) - also open to those without dogs
* Scarecrow making competition for primary schools - this year's theme is “Scarecrows from Africa and around the world”
* Castle Corner Beer Tent with Daveymac providing the sounds
* miniature steam-train rides
* strawberry picking
* bubble balls on the dam
Fun for the whole family - and it benefits many of the local communities and supports local charities.
Definitely worth a visit!
