 The "Cellar Rats" Spring Wine Festival is held in aid of the Woodland Preparatory School in Magaliesberg. It's a great country outing - and a way to find out what's hot in the best of South African wines - with more than 110 wine producers offering over 600 for you to taste.
There's supervised entertainment & fun activities for kids so adult tasters can relax and enjoy. Food stalls offer a range of light foods. Designated drivers - as always - get in free.
There are lawns to picnic on, trees to sit under, a river to walk along - what a better way to enjoy good food, good times and fill up your wine cellars?
Bus transfers are available from Joburg. Visit Cellar Rats online for more info & to book your seat on the bus. It's about a 35 minute's drive by car from the northern side of Johannesburg.
