 Earthdance is a global vision is to unite the world through the universal language of dance and music. Every year, like-minded people from across the planet come together at some 300 Earthdance events in more than 60 countries in a celebration of music, dance and peace.
At 01h00 on Sunday (local South African time - GMT +2) all Earthdance events link up via the “Prayer for Peace” meditation, a universal song that is played simultaneously at all Earthdance events globally at the exact same time - creating a global solidarity of peace.
In South Africa, Earthdance Cape Town has been one of the most well-attended events. It features multiple stages and areas with some of the country's top entertainers and artists like: Laughing Buddha, Cooks, The Commercial Hippies, Krushed & Sorted, LoneSome Dave, Mix n Blend, Tommy Gun and The Plastics to name a few.
Earthdance is the time to come together with good friends for good music and good times. There's fun, adventure and a wonderful sense of togetherness and peace - and knowing you're at one with the world.
