Niyan will be returning from Brasil to run two sweat Lodges in Johannesburg with Leeane.

"We have a very fulfilling journey in Brasil at the Sun Dance and Feitio ceremonies, and will share some of what we have learned in Sweat Lodge. As you know the energy of the lodge grows with each journey we do to Brasil, so don't miss this Lodge. They will be very special. We hope you will join us."

Sun 8 March, 7pm:  Sweat Lodge, Men & Women, at Good Vibrations Sanctuary in Rivonia.

This year we were both gifted with Chanupas by the Dance Chiefs at the Sun Dance, so at these upcoming Sweat Lodges we will consecrate the Chanupas at the close of the Sweat Lodge.

Our lodge has gone thru a metamorphosis over the last two decades and we have used different techniques in our search for the roots of the African Sweat Hut. As we come full circle, we see that the old ways are the best ways and there are good reasons for the form that we have become accustomed to. We love the growth that our journeys to Brasil bring to our Sweat Lodge circle and we hope that many of you benefit from the teachings and ceremonies. Our path is on the Red Road and so these teachings that we receive in Brasil are integrated into our Sweat Lodge here and brought to participants in the Sweat Lodge. We will be singing many of new songs learned this year in Brasil.
