Cape Town is known by many as the Gay Capital of Africa. And once again it'll be hosting the annual Cape Town Pride Festival.
 This year's theme is "Uniting the Cultures of Cape Town" and it features a programme jam-packed with colourful and vibrant events that celebrate the diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities - as well as highlighting the issues and plights of human rights issues throughout Africa.
Lots to look forward to:
This year's festivities includes movies, great parties, several topical seminars, a hike and a book event, competitions and awards, the LeapFrog Pink Ball, shows and even more parties, events for girls and events for the boys and of course the Cape Town Pride Parade and Fair.
