George Cheese Festival 2008

This is the 6th Annual Vodashop George Cheese Festival, hosted by Outeniqua Primary School. And how it's grown from its humble beginnings as a PTA fund-raiser!  This gastronomic fair has grown up into a 3-day festival with additional events stretching over 5 days - including some challenging sporting events.

The 4450m2 tent is attached to the school buildings and transforms the premises into a weather-proof festival facility.

Departing from the Garden Route Botanical Gardens in Caledon Street, Medals for all riders and CASH PRIZES for TOP competitors. 

10 km run - starts at 08h00.  Prizes to be won.

Saturday 26 July
Mountain Biking

200 m kids challenge in the Botanical Gardens

Mountain Bikers can choose 3 different routes covering 3 different distances: 15, 30 & 55kms. 

Starts at 09h00 at Botanical Gardens with goodie bags for first 50 entrants.  It's a competitive ride into the mountains through the forests and back. Medals for all riders and CASH PRIZES for TOP Riders.
