Join these majestic white stallions for this Special Valentine's Day Performance ... it's a wonderfully romantic show!
The stallions will be dancing to love songs, old and new, classical and upbeat.
There will also be prizes on raffle ... and there is a rumour that Cupid will be joining you on the day!
FRIENDS OF THE LIPIZZANERS
Towards the end of 2007, the Lipizzaner Centre was dangerously close to closing down. Four new directors were appointed in January 2008 and with a lot of hard work and a huge amount of support from many wonderful people, the Centre has survived and repaid almost 70% of the inherited debt!
 Special thanks too to the many concerned people who have become Friends of the Lipizzaners - either on a monthly basis (R100 per month) or a discounted annual rate of R1,000. Put very simply, these contributions are the lifeblood of the Centre's survival. The focus, first and foremost, is on the welfare and preservation of these noble horses. Apart from the costs of keeping the performing stallions, there is also the cost of the breeding programme and the care of the mares, foals and young stock.
Becoming a member of the Friends of the Lipizzaners entitles you to discounted rates at regular Sunday performances, special Friends Newsletters, special Friends Events and a Friends' Badge.
