The ever-popular SPAR Hot Summer of Touch series promises to be bigger & better in 2009.
A bit of reshuffling, and the series this year has 2 separate competition sections taking place.
- The “Pro-Series” - the top 8 beach teams in the country competing against each other
- The traditional “Open Tournament” - the public series open to anyone who can throw a Rugby ball - competing for awesome prizes without 'interferance' from the "Pro's".
And then, there's an added bonus for the Open-Series winners and runners-up to join the Quarter Finals of the Pro Series - so they get to test themselves against the best of the best!
The prize pool is an all-time high at R175 000 and you can expect the usual fun & games lead by KFM Surf Guru Deon Bing. Join in and enjoy ...
