This is Cape Town's 5th Military Tattoo and it promises to be the best yet.
Scores of personnel have been busy practicing for months to perform with military precision on the day.
 The Tattoo is steeped in history and tradition, with a distinctly Highland flavour. Some of the highlights include the opening ceremony by the Castle Guard, Tchaikovsky’s "1812" Overture accompanied by thunderous fire from the Cape Field Artillery's Saluting Troop, a fierce battle re-enactment by the SAPS's Mounted Unit and the Final Muster when a kaleidoscope of performers march together for the grand finale.
You'll be able to see SA's finest bands,including the SA Army Band & the SA Navy Band, a guest performance by the band of the Koninklijke Marechausseé (the Dutch gendarmerie).
