It's Music Revival's 12th Birthday! And don’t miss this brilliant performance for string quartet and piano. The newly formed St George’s String Quartet - Elena Kerimova, Ralica Cherneva (violins), David Snaith (viola) and Boris Kerimov (cello) - play two popular works for string quartet; Pachelbel's Canon and the celebrated 2nd movement from Borodin's String Quartet.
The main work in this afternoon programme at St George’s Garrison Church is Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F minor op 34 . A magnificent large scale work in four movements for String Quartet and Piano, Christopher Duigan joins the St George’s String Quartet in this dramatic, passionate and powerful music.
