This is a benefit concert with a great cause: raising funds and awareness about cancer amongst the South African Youth through music.
The Cape Town concert will feature aKing, Fokofpolisiekar, the Dirty Skirts, Foto na Dans and D7.
 The Vrede Foundation was formed in 2008 in aid of Herman Pretorius, an amazing musician who was involved in the South African music scene for a long time and who lost his battle with cancer.
Young people generally don't think about cancer, yet it is becoming more prevalent in younger people. To break this taboo and align the Foundation with a positive and uplifting message, The Vrede Foundation uses music to educate and inspire young South Africans.
All this, of course, and to have a really good time!!
