Wine lovers - don't miss the annual Helderberg Wine Festival, where you can sample the best wines from some 30 participating wineries in the Helderberg area around Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

You can sample the wares of smaller, lesser known vineyards like Romond Wines, Onderkloof and Peter Falke, to the historival greats like Blaauwklippen, Vergenoegd and Lourensford.

There's some great outdoor activities too for the more adventurous: a golf day, mountain bike rides and a spectacular walk along the vineyards of the Helderberg.

It is a weekend of great wine and food, with lots of different activities at each participating cellar, suitable for adults and children.

Festival packs and glasses are available from all participating wineries at R75pp from Thursday, valid for the whole weekend. All proceeds to be donated to Round Table Somerset West.
