Cello & Piano Recital: Jennifer Lintz, newly appointed Co-Principal Cello of the KZNPO, joins Christopher Duigan in two magnificent classical Sonatas for Cello and Piano.

The Romaic soaring of Brahms Sonata No 1 in E minor is contrasted by Beethoven’s youthful Sonata in G minor, the second of the five cello sonatas.  Also included is Rachmaninoff's’ vocalise.

Jennifer, was born near Denver, Colorado, and began playing the cello at age eight. She entered the University of Colorado on full scholarship before studying for a year at the Munich Conservatory with Walther Nothas. Jennifer completed her Master’s Degree in performance at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, studying with noted Israeli cellist Yehuda Hanani. During this time, she was awarded the Orchestral String Fellowship and spent three summers performing at the Aspen Music Festival.
