CLASSICAL PIANO - Christopher Duigan plays a selection of classical piano works marking, and inspired by, the onset of spring. Including Beethoven’s Sonata Appassionata op 57 , music by Schubert, Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz, Chopin’s Barcarolle, Sinding's Rustle of Spring plus a selection of preludes by Rachmaninoff. This brilliant combination is set to install the optimism of the bursting forth of spring in all its glory. The concert is repeated at the Tatham Art Gallery on Sunday.
