There'll be a lot of new aircraft in the skies and busy air-traffic controllers in Durban as more than 100 planes gather for the annual Durban Airshow, hosted by The Durban Wings Club. 

This airshow is the biggest of its kind on the African continent - and the 2nd longest-running civilian airshow in the world.

More than 95 participants at the show are set to wow the more than 15 000 spectators and 250 000 more who will be watching from the beaches, hotels, restaurants and homes from Umhlanga to downtown Durban.
