This special collaboration series offers stimulating inter-disciplinary synergy, promotes original work and promises to offer local audiences a great evening's entertainment

MONDAY 22 ONE PIANO, TWO PIANISTS 7:30 pm
Liezel-Maret Jacobs, Piano Lecturer at UKZN-Durban, joins Christopher Duigan for a classical programme of music for four hands at one piano. WEDNESDAY 24 ART BY MUSIC 7:30 pm

THURSDAY 25 7:30 pm PLAYING WITH POETRY
Poet Kobus Moolman reads selections of his poetry combined creatively with music played by pianist Christopher Duigan. This presentation won great acclaim at the recent Franschhoek Literary Festival. A wide range of music interleaved with concise poetic inserts offers juxtapositions that stimulate and create energy from both mediums. Includes wine and coffee R80

FRIDAY 26 THE COMPOSER’S CHOICE 7:30 pm
For a selection of classical piano music with an unusual focus, Christopher Duigan plays a programme of composer's favourites, works of others that great composers themselves valued, performed and taught. With Beethoven admiring Clementi, Chopin dismissing Schumann and Liszt championing the music of many of his contemporaries, this promises to be a intriguing recital of music. Includes wine and coffee R80

SATURDAY 27 COMING UP ROSES 7:30 pm
Louise Buchler’s play Coming Up Roses makes a quick stop in PMB before heading to the Grahamstown Arts Festival. Directed by Peter Mitchell the play follows Christine (Caitlin Kilburn), Earnest (Ron Barbour) and Cadence (Louise Buchler), three people stuck in a rut. Follow these three unwitting characters as they deal with life’s curveballs – jail, dead fish, ruby red stilettos, supermarket aisles and internet dating, and then again there are the signs ... Includes wine and coffee R80 Light meal on offer. WARNING: Please avoid if you are offended by strong language.
