The picturesque village of Greyton is the place to be for some warming winter music this weekend. It's an hour & a half's drive from Cape Town, so it's an easy & ideal getaway that promises some great musical moments.
The festival kicks off on Friday evening (12 June) with an 'open stage' - where anyone from the community or visitors can show off their classical music skills. This will be held at the Greyton Lodge.
On Saturday, visitors can join locals at the ever-popular Greyton morning market, brimming with fresh produce and other gorgeous goodies. From about 3pm, there'll be a woodwind ensemble, with the top school-going talents playing a repertoire that varies from traditional wind quintets, light classical music to light jazz and crossover.
