As part of the Old Mutual Encounters series, this month's concert features some of the hottest new talent in South Africa - aKING, Fokofpolisiekar, Zebra & Giraffe and Tidal Waves.
 So bring your friends, family and loved ones, grab some chairs or a picnic blanket, and chill out for a fabulous day of great music in the outdoors AND support a very good cause. Because this concert's in aid of the Vrede Foundation - which supports teens with cancer.
And all these performers' lives have been touched by cancer in some way, so they'll be playing from the heart. Earlier this year, MK founder & presenter, Herman
Pretorius, was diagnosed with cancer which created shockwaves in the local music industry.
This saw the launch of the Vrede Foundation and the first
Vredefest was held in Pretoria this year on Valentines Day with the talents of
Crash Car Burn, Ef-el, Klopjag, Wonderboom and Van Coke Kartel. Over 2500 people attended the concert and a total of R100 000 was raised for the Vrede Foundation.
