Rustlers Valley, AWAKE Spring Equinox Gathering

AWAKE - To honour Frik's life and vision, a spring Equinox Gathering at Rustlers Valley, 19 to 21 September.

It was Frik's intention to have a celebration exactly one year after the big fire that burned Rustlers. Now this event will also celebrate Frik's life. We are further inspired to hold this gathering in response to the love and messages received from all of you around the planet who recognise the extraordinary impact Frik and Rustlers had on our lives.

We have been working hard to honour Frik's vision, and are attempting to revamp the original Rustlers bar, the dance floor and camping facilities with limited funds and manpower.

So, from 19 to 21 September we can offer: great music, basic camping facilities, toilets, hot showers, water, Anton's spaza and a cash bar for this gathering. The rest is up to the love and energy of all who attend.

If you would like to contribute to the Equinox Gathering 2008, please visit www.rustlers.co.za and see what you can do or bring to make this an experience we will never forget. We are still looking for food vendor/s, stretch tenting material for over the dance floor, lights, cloth for screens, decor, furniture, hay bales and anything else to make the venue comfortable.
