If it's nearly the end of April, it's time for the annual Lusito Land Festival - one of the hottest, most vibrant fests on Gauteng's calendar. With a serious Portuguese flavour, you can feel the heat as the country's most sizzling musicians play rousing music that will keep you on your feet, all day and all night. And taste the heat with the best Portuguese food around, from daring peri-peri chicken to irresistible garlic prawns.
Utterly unmissable, Lusito Land is an extravaganza of wild colour, folk dancing, fun fair rides and mouth-watering food and wine. So come & celebrate at leisure under an African sky with friends and family. The musical line-up is awesome: Karen Zoid, Crash Car Burn, Flat Stanley, Mean Mr Mustard, Loyiso ... Lusito Land is a local legend. And it's hosted by the Lusito Association, a non-profit organization, and all proceeds go in aid of mentally and physically challenged.
