Jozi’s student party of the year kicks off on 29 January with the appropriately named MONDAY NIGHT – THE KICK OFF PARTY. Hip hop and house DJs Nugget, Soul Kid, Dimples, Milkshake, Lady Lea, Kentphonik and Roger Goode will persuade the crowds to get down to some serious beats from 18h00. R30 will get you in.
On 31 January Jakkie Louw and Chris Chameleon will entertain the students at the Wyntuin from 18h00. This is a well established night where the students can enjoy a good glass of red while listening to some of their favourite artists for only R35.
There will be loads of rock to please any hardcore DocMartin-wearing-china in the Beer Garden on 2 February. The gig starts at 17h00 with Surface Tension, Evolver, Blck Jcks, Love Jones, Wonderboom, Karma, Prime Circle and The Parlotones will smash away their guitar strings and things on Friday evening. These bands were carefully selected to ensure that the vast variety of tastes amongst students are accommodated. Entrance is only R45 and it promises to be a helluva party.
