Hailed recently as a 'South African Piano Icon' Christopher Duigan performs a classical recital for a performance in Kloof. His programme includes some of the greatest and most appealing woks form the classical concert repertoire in one programme.
 Beethoven’s 'Waldstein' Sonata, Gershwin’s Rhapsody In Blue, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No 6 in D-flat plus Chopin‘so Heroic Polonaise and Ballade No 1 make up this compelling selection of music and offers a perfect introduction to the thrilling and astounding world of classical music performance. Christopher Duigan plays this quintessential but enthralling programme appealing to new-comers and connoisseurs of the pianist’s art.
His recital at St Agnes Church in Kloof follows on a recent sell-out performance at the Howard College Theatre in Durban. He will be performing this programme in Cape Town at the Baxter Theatre later in March.
