Heidelberg, Gauteng: Motor Show

• A display of classic cars
• Exhibition of new and not so new exotic cars and hot-rods
• Top car brands will again be exhibited
• Theunis Nel from Kyknet’s La’t Wiel will be here with the finished Ford Ranchero
• Goodyear Racing Team
• Beull Motorbike Stunt Team
• Display of American Chopper Motorbikes
• Display of Harley Davidson Motorbikes
• Air displays and Fly-in:
In association with the Heidelberg Flying Club and Capital Sounds, Brian Emmenis and his team will be provided professional sound and commentary at the Motor Show. We hope to bring you a variety of air displays, including parachutists.
Captain Dennis Spence of SAA and his team will entertain the crowd with an aerobatic display in the Goodyear-Wesbank sponsored Pitts Special aircrafts.
• Mazda Zoom Zoom aerobatic team will thrill the crowds with their aerobatic show. They came 2nd in the world Air Show championships in Japan.
• A DC 3 Dakota will also be part of the Air Show.
• A few unexpected surprises from other show pilots and visiting aircraft can also be expected.
• An exciting highlight of the day will be the involvement of Harley Davidson Motorcycles who will grace our Motor Show with a morning breakfast run and join our "Cruise for Cancer". Our aim is to bring excitement, pleasure and delight to children with cancer by means of rides on these machines. The Heidelberg Flying Club is also involved and will fly these children in their privately owned aircraft.
• With the Harley Davidson club, we also endeavour to collect blankets for under privileged children in Heidelberg which will be distributed by Harley Davidson and KIDS -Kids In Dire Straits.
• We also host a community project in the form of the Afgri Downhill Soap Box Derby. Community members, local schools and businesses have the opportunity to build soap boxes, get together and race "Red Bull" style in Heidelberg. Our aim through this event is to bring the community of Heidelberg together to share some fun. Red Bull will also be involved in this wonderful event.
• Another highlight of our weekend of wheels is the draw of a lucky ticket where the holder will go home with a brand new 2008 Harley Davidson Nightster. Tickets are on sale at R50 per ticket.
