This is an invitation to take a journey into understanding what it is to be women, to re-connect & celebrate the feminine face of God. This is a time & place where the spiritual & physical worlds meet. It is a time for a conscious contact with the divine through dance, meditation, self & group expression. The journey is also an opportunity to look at aspects of ourselves that are wounded & still need tending. This is essentially an invitation to open your heart & know yourself.

The Sweat lodge will also be a vital part of our process & will begin at 6pm in the evening.

Women's Moon Sweat lodge :
As women we understand and love the Great Mother. All women are called back to the womb of the Mother, back to where the darkness & the mist completely envelopes us, where time & place do not exist. This is where we will learn about the feminine aspect of God.

As women we come to understand the cycle of creation, because our bodies repeat the rhythm of the moon. Our Women's lodge is an invitation for all women of any age, race or religion, it does not matter what stage of your moon cycle you are at.

All sense of race, colour and religion disappears in the heat and darkness of the lodge. In the womb of Mother Earth we are all the same and have the ability to sit with the Great Spirit. It is a place to get answers and guidance by asking spiritual entities, totem helpers, the Great Spirit and Mother Earth. As the steam rises so do our senses and our prayers. The sweat lodge offers the possibility of spiritual rebirth and reconnection. We come closer to ourselves, closer to Great Spirit, and closer to understanding each other. Songs are shared in the lodge. Some passed to us from elders and teachers; most reflect the spiritual leanings of the participants. Most are songs of worship praising Creator. They often show appreciation for creation. Songs help clear away obstructions to clarity and growth. They lift our spirits and call upon helper beings, ancestors and Creator.

This work is done to balance feminine & masculine energies within ourselves, our families & communities.

Cost: R450, if pre-paid by internet or deposited into account before the evening, or R500 on the day.
(includes light lunch & dinner after the Sweat lodge)
