Lovers of oysters and wine are invited to join this year's event for an array of fresh succulent oysters, a variety of fine wines, magical oyster recipes and other foods and beverages for sampling.
The grassy commons will be home to an "oyster shack" where fresh oysters can be obtained. Also situated in this area will be two "oyster islands" each offering a selection of mouthwatering oyster recipes to tantalize the taste-buds. Take a sip of oyster soup or sample an oyster tortilla complete with guacamole and salsa. Whilst shrimp and oyster wrapped in bacon is certain to be a taste sensation, sushi oysters are a must! In addition, will be some interesting alcoholic beverages including bloody Mary oyster and tequila oyster shots, amongst others.
Visitors can also enjoy demonstrations of various oyster recipes. These will be presented by Lehan Botha, Executive Chef of Legend Hospitality School and founder of Kettle Kings.
