Expect bigger and better...

The bigger, better Sunday Times Food Show is back at the Sandton Convention Centre from July 3 to 6 in partnership with the BBC. This year’s international celebrity chefs include Ching-He Huang of Chings Kitchen, Gino D’Acampo of an Italian in Mexico and the delightful Reza Mahammad and of course South Africa’s best.

What’s more, the 2008 Sunday Times Food Show will expand its themed footprint beyond food and wine to incorporate culinary-related lifestyle elements including youth-specific activities, kitchenware, cookery books, gadgetry, appliances and home ware – with everything from table linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware to indoor and outdoor furnishings and table-settings.

The Sunday Times Food Awards will complement the Food Show with top chefs in the Chef of the Year, Young chef of the Year categories , and a 'Chef School Challenge'. There will also be a Sunday Times It’s My Business Food Entrepeneur of the Year Award to recognise top emerging businesses within the food industry. The 2008 Awards will be conferred at the Sunday Times Food Awards cocktail event on Saturday, 5 July.
