Taste of Joburg is an amazing four day celebration of fine food and drink, set in the prestigious The Montecasino Outdoor Event Venue

This October, 16 of Johannesburg's top restaurants and chefs will be serving a stunning selection of sample sized signature dishes to Taste of Johannesburg visitors. If you love eating out this is an opportunity too good to miss.

Taste of Joburg is not just about sampling mouth watering dishes, its also a chance to improve your culinary skills, watch experts in action or educate your palate with a range of tasting sessions. As well as food, the Festival offers an amazing variety of quality beverages for you to drink. Premium suppliers will offer fine wine and champagne, speciality beers, largers and ciders, as well as spirits and liqueurs from all around the world.

There are two sessions daily (except Thursday and Sunday) and tickets are for either afternoon or evening sessions. There is so much to see and do at Taste of Joburg that we recommend visitors arrive in good time.

Standard: R80 - Entrance only, includes welcome drink.
Premium: R170 - Including R100 worth of Taste of Joburg 'Crown' which are used to buy a selection of over 50 dishes cooked by Johannesburg's top restaurants.
Group Discounts are available on premium tickets: 10-19 tickets - R160 per ticket ( includes R100 worth of crowns) 15% on 20 or more tickets - R150 per ticket ( includes R100 worth of Crowns).

Entrance free for children under the age of 12

Taste of Joburg Crowns- How they work:
Simply buy your official currency in advance as part of your ticket or buy Crowns at the show and use them to pay for sample dishes from restaurants or drinks from exhibitors and bars.

Each Taste of Joburg Crown is worth R5 and prices range from four to eight Crowns per dish. Change is offered in Crowns only. Please note that restaurants and bars will not accept any cash for tasting dishes or for drinks consumed at the show.
