About Mother Moon
"I was born with the Christian name of Sammye Jo Harvey, named after my Grandfather who is from the Chippewa tribe of the Ojibwa nation. I grew up in a mixed culture of Native American and white. My Native childhood name was Many Colours (meaning open heart). I have an elders name now that I have kept from when the children in Africa named me Mother Moon. One of my jobs this life time is to remind people who they are. I gently tap on their cellular memories and remind them they are light beings. I help them to lay down their pains of this and other lifetimes. I am only one of a billion light workers that are helping prepare and raise our vibration consciousness and reactivate the memory of Love. Only by doing this will the earth be healed and peace, come. I have been shown and told the time when this will happen. This is my responsibility. I have been blessed with the gift of many names. Israel has named me Hahova (beloved). Credo Mutwa (high prophet of the Zulu) has named me Indaba (daughter of many stories)."

Wed 26 Nov: Storytelling - Midrand - Come and share in the magick of becoming like a child again as you listen to the stories and songs Sammye shares from her rich tradition as a Third Generation Native American storyteller. Her warmth, love and caring makes it a special evening, and no matter how many times you hear the stories, the magick remains and you learn and remember as they touch you. An unforgettable evening. (R100-00 bring own refreshments).

Sat 29 Nov: Energy workshop - Midrand - Sammye-Jo Harvey - has been a Chief Moon Mother at many of the For The One and Sun-Moon dances around the world, as well as a Dance Chief. Many of us have grown to love her, and respect her many wonderful qualities. We are blessed that she is willing to share her deep wisdom and experience at this one-day that will cover the following:
· Working with and moving energy,
· Energy systems / The four directions
· Using fans in ceremony and in healing
· Anything else that Spirit calls her to share with us
Time: 9 am to 5 pm with a Sweat Lodge on Saturday evening

Sun 30 Nov: Dream Catcher workshop - Midrand - In the Native American tradition each one should make his or her own Dream Catcher as each person's weave is intimate and personal. 2nd best is to have one made for you as a gift. Hear the legends and stories around the Dream Catcher as you make your own and weave the magick for your dreams, as tradition has it - Cost R400-00 all materials supplied. Bring something to share for lunch.
