Popular front man of the Lemonheads, Evan Dando, is coming to South African shores to perform at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival from 27 – 30 June. His live performances at the Old Mutual Acoustic Encounters feature three exclusive collaborations with local musical legend Ray Phiri on 27, 28 and 29 June, at the Taphuis. On 30 June Evan Dando will be playing a solo unplugged session at the Cuervo Music Room. Dando is the front man and only constant member of the pop/punk outfit the Lemonheads. The Lemonheads broke onto the scene in the late 1980’s and continued to leave their mark for the next 20 years. Through many rivalries and overwhelming success, to even being nominated a sex symbol in the 1990s, Dando will be coming to SA to show his audiences and fans what he is really made of.
