The Gariep Arts Festival will celebrate its 9th birthday in 2008, and will again be a festival in the true sense of the word, with four days of fun, food, art, entertainment and socialising. The Gariep Arts Festival has an impressive line-up of more than 120 of South Africa’s best musical artists, 200 art mark stalls, 60 food stalls, as well as art exhibitions and a children’s fun park. The goal of the Gariep Arts Festival is to promote the arts and make it accessible for anyone.
