Situated in picturesque Swellendam (the 3rd oldest town in South Africa), Marula Lodge is a modern, comfortable guest house with the friendliest hosts, Filip & Marion who speak English, Afrikaans, German & Dutch.

There's lots to see & do in and around Swellendam and Marula Lodge is a convenient & comfortable base to set out from. You can walk to many of the fine eateries, shops and stores.

Your hosts will be only too happy to give you information on what to do in the area, or you can join one of their organised day trips which may include wine-tasting, riverside picnics, boat trips, river crossing by hand-drawn ferry or a trip to a natural cave at the sea.

Directions: Coming from Cape Town on the N2, take the exit Swellendam West, after 800m at the 4-way stop turn right and follow Voortrek Street about 1,7 km you will find us on your left hand side N°111.
