About
Heatherdale is one of those amazing Jo'burg places. It's so close to most of the big city amenities. Yet there's a real laid-back, country-feeling about the place. There's nothing laid-back about the service though - it's very competent, professional and warm.
It's a great choice if you're visiting for business or pleasure. Set in spacious, 4-acre gardens, there's plenty of birdlife - which is probably why most of the rooms and suites are called after some of their favourite feathery friends.
There's also a choice of accommodation so you can decide what suits you best: 2 luxury suites, 6 luxury rooms and 3
self-catering
cottages. Every one is tastefully decorated, unfussy, neat and clean. Each room has it's own en-suite bathroom (bath and/or shower), private patio with garden chairs for enjoying the outdoors. Also wireless
ADSL connections, DSTV,
mini bar, complimentary tea, coffee
and biscuits.
North Riding, (where you'll find Heatherdale) is in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, and is one of the safest areas with dedicated police patrols. The perimeter is secure and there's restricted access to the property.

Bokmakerie Cottage:
This delightful one-bedroom
self-catering cottage has an an open plan lounge with TV, DSTV channel and
modern kitchen. It's fully equipped and has a full bathroom with separate
shower and its own braai & patio area where guests can really relax and feel

Lourie Cottage:
A two-bedroom self-catering
unit with an open plan, modern fully-equipped kitchen and lounge with
TV & DSTV channel. It has a full bathroom with separate
shower, balcony & private braai / BBQ area. A great option for a family getaway. (Serviced daily)
Conferencing:
The attractive, thatched venue has two conference rooms plus a breakaway room. One room can accommodate 80 cinema-style or 120-cocktail style and the smaller room can comfortably cater for 15 school-room style. All the standard equipment plus WiFi
is available. Rates are negotiable and depend on type of catering and menus required. Best is to discuss your particular needs with the helpful staff.

Directions
Directions: From OR Tambo International Airport get onto the N1 towards Johannesburg but stay on the N1
towards Roodepoort. Take the Randburg / Lanseria offramp (Malibongwe)
junction and turn right over the highway. From the Highway traffic
lights travel through 3 more sets and turn left at the next big set
into Olievenhout Ave. Go through another 3 sets of lights and at the
fourth set by the Coca-Cola Dome, turn right into Northumberland Ave.
Turn
left into Aureole Road and second left into Valley Road, no. 358.

Spring and Summer are always best when the gardens are at their nicest. Highveld winters are warmer than most European summers - but the nights can be very cold.

Situated
less than a kilometre from the Coca-Cola Dome and Northgate Shopping Centre, Heatherdale is also close to the
Randburg CBD, Sandton, Fourways, Montecasino and not far from Kya Sands,
Laser Park and Strijdom Office centres.
The Lion & Rhino Park and
the Randburg Waterfront are also within easy reach. It's just over an hour's drive to Sun City.
The Ice-Rink at Northgate is a huge drawcard for children.
