Greater Durban

Incl. Central, North, Outer West, South (Amanzimtoti, Umkomaas), Inner West, Umhlanga & Umdloti

Durban lies on the Eastern Seaboard of South Africa.  It's Africa's busiest and most efficient port, business hub and playground - rather like the 'Miami' of Africa.

Victoria Embankment & Wilson's WharfIt's a smart cosmopolitan mix with over 3 million people (it's the third biggest South African city).  It is also a world-class convention destination and hosts many global events - like South Africa's premier tourism show, Indaba (meeting) held early in May every year.

Durban (or Durbs) offers great international and local dining, fashion, music, sport, history, entertainment, shopping, markets, theatres and a nightlife that rocks till the wee hours.

L: Part of the Victoria Embankment Quayside Development

An outdoor paradise, it has miles of golden beaches, great surf and warm water and it's known as the 'Playground' of the Zulu Kingdom.

It's also one of the more 'laid back' cities.  Probably due to its hot humid summers and balmy winters.  The Warm Indian Ocean.   Many people live throughout the year in shorts & 'plakkies' (thongs/flip-flops/jandals).

It's a great holiday destination any time of the year. Peak periods are Easter and December Holidays when thousands of South Africans head for the coast.
