The unique aerial boardwalk at Dlinza Forest, near EshoweEshowe - oldest European settlement in Zululand region, close to the Dlinza indigenous forests.  It was also the one time headquarters of King Cetshwayo in 1860.

It's the capital of the region and because it is a bit inland, you can escape from the heat and humidity you'll find along this coast.

The Dlinza forest has a unique aerial boardwalk from which you can view the birds, monkeys, wild pigs, buck, butterflies and other forest creatures.

The Valley of Kings, or eMakhosini Ophathe Heritage Park is near Ulindi.  This is the ancient seat of the Zulu kings and where Dingane, Shaka, Mpande and the other greats were born.  The current Zulu leader, King Goodwill Zwelithini also has his residence here.
