North West Pretoria/Tshwane A sprawling, temperate area encompassing many of the former 'homelands' (under the previous Apartheid regime). Also site of the world renowned Tswaing Meteorite Crater, also known as the Pretoria Zoutpan crater as it contains a unique saline/salty lake in its centre.
