Central Randburg/Northcliff Region This region is a good combination of trendy student areas, new developments and stately homes in leafy, tree-lined suburbs. Its the most central of all the regions and its two main business, shopping and entertainent hubs are Rosebank and Randburg. To the east, lie the genteel suburbs of Hyde Park, Sandhurst and Dunkeld. To the centre, lies Rosebank, a major station on the new Gautrain Rapid Rail system currently being built. Northcliff offers majestic views over Johannesburg (especially at night).
