Home to Botswana's capital, Gaborone, supposedly one of the fastest-growing cities in Africa.   It's vibrant, happening and distinctly African in flavour, yet it has all the infrastructure of a bustling, modern city: after all, it's the seat of power for one of Africa's most stable economies.  Here you'll find numerous prosperous shopping malls, excellent restaurants, world class hotels, sports clubs and various night clubs.  

Gaberone is home to the government ministries, the National Assembly, the House of Chiefs and the Archives, the University of Botswana and the National Museum and Art Gallery.
