Since 1993, Rockey's provided travellers from all over the world with honest, reliable and friendly advice and service. Before moving to Fourways, Rockey's was situated in Yeoville and known as Rockey Street Backpackers.

Rockey's of Fourways offered something for everyone but sadly, after 13 years of operation it was time to move on. Rockey's closed its doors at the end of 2005.
But we’d like to salute the many who over the years arrived as strangers … and left as friends.
Rockey’s was an institution – a crossroads – in the lives of kindred souls. A place where friendships were made, partnerships forged, and oops – even marriages happened.
